Formed in March of 2003, AUGUST BURNS RED almost instantly began turning heads with their undeniable talent and knack for writing catchy licks with a tight rhythm section to match. Their shattering debut Thrill Seeker positioned them as a premier metal core act. With the release of their second album, Messengers, AUGUST BURNS RED took an even larger step forward, accomplishing on their first two records what it takes most bands to do in a life time, combining the technical aspects of European Metal, the breakdowns of American Hardcore and vocal styling that leave no rock unturned in the metal genre. Having just played the Download Festival in Derby, the Pennsylvania five-some are taking part in the Vans Warped Tour which will see them tour all across America this June.
